Objective
Adjust Seamline properties such as line types, tension, sublayers, topstitch, puckering, and 3D Seamline Normal Maps to render a realistic Garment.

Properties Description Sewing Line Type Turned (Off) Fold Strength 180° represents a flat state. The internal line is folded towards the front of the pattern as the fold angle is closer to 0˚ and is folded into the back of the pattern as the angle is closer to 360˚. Fold Angle The intensity of the fold is able to be set by adjusting the value of Fold Strength. The higher the value, the closer the fold is to the set angle. When a jacket and its lining are sewn together, the sewn area inflates due to the default sewing angle and intensity values. In this case, set the Fold Strength to 0 to flatten the sewn boundaries. Turned (On) Sew two layers of pattern flatly. The Fold Strength and Fold Angle settings cannot be adjusted. Tension When the 3D garment is expressed as being stretched more than the actual garment, adjust the Tension of Sewing Line.
Same as the actual real life concept, Tension is applied based on the short or long side with the Ease and Stretch options.Sewing Line Type Ease When the seam lengths differ, this type adds a slight allowance, resulting in a relatively soft sewing tension.
Stretch When the seam lengths differ, this type does not add any allowance, resulting in a more precise and higher sewing tension. Strength Increase or decrease the strength of the sewing tension by entering the value.
The result may vary depending on the Strength even with the same Ratio value.Ratio Adjust the sewing tension's ratio to express varying drape effects by different sewing methods. Set Sublayer Assign orders to the Sewing Lines on a Pattern that folds on itself such as seam allowances and pleats, to increase simulation stability. Reverse Direction Swap the order of the Sewing Line and the Sewed Line. Sublayer Decide which side of the fabric is attached to the fixed Sewing Line, Back or Front. Topstitch Name Rename the Topstitch. Topstitch Property Change the style of the selected Topstitch. Extend When the start or end point of a Topstitch does not reach or sticks out of the Pattern outline, extend it to fit to the Pattern. Corner Curved Set the Topstitch corner type to extend the stitch more smoothly at corners. Right Angled Set the Topstitch to be a right angle in the corner of the pattern. Smooth Set it to continue naturally if the edge of the Topstitch is broken. Offset Set the Z Offset of the Topstitch. Placement Seam A Topstitch will be shown only on Seam A. Seam B Topstitch will be shown only on Seam B. Seam Both Topstitch will be shown on both sides. Puckering Name Rename the Puckering. Puckering Property Change the style of the selected Topstitch. Extend Extend the start/endpoint of the puckering to the 2D pattern outline. Offset Offset (mm) Adjust the distance between the puckering and the pattern outline. Include the Puckering Width in Offset or not if needed. Z Offset (mm) Adjust the distance between the Z-axis and a pattern piece. Placement Seam A Puckering will be shown only on Seam A. Seam B Puckering will be shown only on Seam B. Seam Both Puckering will be shown on both sides. 3D Seamline Plain Seam Normal Map Select an image to be used as the Normal Map. Intensity Adjust the intensity of the Normal Map applied to the seamline. Thickness (mm) Adjust the thickness of the Normal Map applied to the seamline. Directional Placement Select Seam A or Seam B for the placement of the seamline. Normal Map Select an image to be used as the Normal Map. Intensity Adjust the intensity of the Normal Map applied to the seamline. Thickness (mm) Adjust the thickness of the Normal Map applied to the seamline. - Or, Right-click on the sewing line to apply the options as needed.
