Marvelous Designer Support

Objective

Save and load all Avatar related files, such as the Model (*.dae or *obj), Pose (*.pos), Motion (*.mtn), Accessories (*.acc), Bounding Volume (*.pan), and Arrangement Points (*.arr) as one file (*.avt).

Location

Open AVT

Main Menu ▶ File ▶ Open ▶ Avatar (Ctrl+Shift+A)

Save AVT

Main menu ▶ File ▶ Save As ▶ Avatar

Operation

Open AVT

1. Follow the indicated guideline below:
   
   Main Menu ▶ File ▶ Open ▶ Avatar (Ctrl+Shift+A)
   
   → The Open File window appears.
   
   
2. Select the desired file and click Open to load it.
   
   ※ Note: The default avatars provided by Marvelous Designer are located in the following path.
   
   Windows
   
   Library ▶ Documents ▶ Marvelous Designer ▶ Assets_ver_x.x.x ▶ Avatar ▶ Avatar
   
   (Detail Path) C: ▶ Users ▶ User Name ▶ Documents ▶ Marvelous Designer ▶ Assets_ver_x.x.x ▶ Avatar ▶ Avatar
   
   

Save AVT

1. Follow the indicated guideline below:
   
   Main Menu ▶ File ▶ Save As ▶ Avatar
   
   → The Open File window appears.
   
   
2. Select a location to save the Garment file, enter in a name and press Save button.
   
   ※ Note: Even if multiple Avatars exist within the workspace, they can be saved separately (ver2.3.0).
