Objective
In the 3D window, freely establish Sewing Lines on Pattern outlines and Internal Shapes/Lines.
Location
Main Menu ▶ Sewing ▶ Free Sewing
2D or 3D Toolbar ▶ Free Sewing
Operation
- Follow the indicated guideline below:
Main Menu ▶ Sewing ▶ Free Sewing
2D or 3D Toolbar ▶ Free Sewing
→ All sew-able segments are bolded.
→ All Sewing Lines appear in both 2D and 3D windows. - Click, drag and double click on Pattern outline or Internal Shape/Line to establish the start and end points of the first half of the seam.
- Similarly, click again on another Pattern outline or Internal Shape/Line to establish the start point of the second half of the seam.
→ Drag the mouse cursor as a blue point appears guiding the length of the first half of the seam. - The mouse cursor snaps to the blue guide point.
- Be mindful to make the Directional Notches parallel to each other and click to complete the second half of the seam.
※ Note:
- The face of the Directional Notch of a Sewing Line defers depending on the order of establishing the start and the end point of the Sewing Line.
- Right click while establishing the Free Sewing Line to enter the desired length of the Sewing Line in the Create Sewing Line window.
- Use the shortcut to establish M:N sewing lines. For more detail, please reference M:N Free Sewing.
