Objective
Match up the pattern line lengths of two corresponding pattern outlines or segment points (ver3.0.0).
Location
Match Up with Pattern Outlines
Right-Click the Pop-Up Menu (on Segment) ▶ Match Up ▶ To Start/ To Center/ To End
Match Up with Points
Right Click Pop-Up Menu (on Point) ▶ Match Up
Operation
Match up with Pattern Outlines
- Navigate to the 2D toolbar and select the Edit Pattern Tool.
- Select Pattern outlines of two separate Patterns that are intended to be aligned with each other.
- Follow the indicated guideline below:
Right-Click Pop-Up Menu (on Segment) ▶ Match Up ▶ To Start / To Center / To End
→The Patterns align to the Pattern outline that is right clicked on.
Match Up with Points
- Navigate to the 2D toolbar and select the Edit Pattern Tool.
- Select two points from the two Patterns that are intended to be aligned with each other.
- Follow the indicated guideline below:
Right-Click Pop-Up Menu (on Point) ▶ Match Up
→The Patterns will align in reference to the point that is right clicked on first.
Match Measurement (ver. 2024.0)
- Navigate to the 2D toolbar and select the Edit Pattern Tool.
- Select Pattern outlines from the two separate Patterns that should be aligned adjacent to each other.
Right-Click Pop-Up Menu (on Segment) ▶ Match Up ▶ Match Measurement
→ Set the options as needed and then click the OK button.
| Match to | Choose the reference of the two segments. |
| Direction | Select the direction in which the segment will be edited. |
| Measurement | The length of the segment to be matched is displayed. |
→ The two line segments will be matched according to the setting options selected.
