Marvelous Designer Support

Objective

Create curves in Marvelous Designer similarly how they are drawn in Adobe Illustrator (ver3.0.0).

Location

Main Menu ▶ 2D Pattern ▶ Create ▶ Polygon or Internal Polygon/Line

2D Toolbar ▶ Polygon or Internal Polygon/Line

Operation

Create AI Curves

1. Follow the indicated guideline below:
   
   Main Menu ▶ 2D Pattern ▶ Create ▶ Polygon or Internal Polygon/Line
   
   2D Toolbar ▶ Polygon or Internal Polygon/Line
   
   
2. Click and drag on the 2D window. The curve is created as the blue handle appears.
   
   → Continue to drag to adjust curvature. When the desired curvature is achieved, let go the mouse cursor.
   
   
   
   
3. To draw a straight line or change the direction of the curve, click on the point created at last. Then, continue to draw polygon or Internal Polygon/Line.

Cancel Actions

1. To cancel all actions, hit Esc key or Ctrl + Z keys on the keyboard.
   
   → All the actions taken to create polygon or Internal Polygon/Line are undone.
   
   
2. To cancel the last step, hit Delete key or Backspace key on the keyboard.
   
   → The point created at last is undone.
