Objective
Slash and spread a Pattern using an Internal Line inside the Pattern (ver2.4.0).

Operation
Slash & Spread
- Follow the indicated guideline below:
Main Menu ▶ 2D Pattern ▶ Edit ▶ Slash & Spread
2D Toolbar ▶ Slash & Spread - Click on the Pattern outline to draw a Slash Line. Drag the mouse as the Slash Line follows along the mouse cursor. Click again on the Pattern outline to complete the Slash Line.
Or, Click on the Internal Line within the Pattern to set it as a Slash Line (ver2.5.0). - Choose the side of the Pattern to be rotated.
→ The selected side of the Pattern is highlighted in yellow. - Drag the mouse cursor towards the Pattern should be rotated.
→ The preview of the edited pattern appears. - When the desired shape is achieved, click on the 2D window to complete Slash & Spread.
Slash & Spread with Distance and Angle
- Follow the indicated guideline below:
Main Menu ▶ 2D Pattern ▶ Edit ▶ Slash & Spread
2D Toolbar ▶ Slash & Spread - Click on the Pattern outline to draw a Slash Line. Drag the mouse as the Slash Line follows along the mouse cursor. Click again on the Pattern outline to complete the Slash Line.
Or, click on the Internal Line within the Pattern to set it as a Slash Line (ver2.5.0). - Right click on the 2D window to access the pop-up menu.
→ The Spread window appears. - Enter the desired values for Distance and Angle.
Distance Set how much in length the selected side of the Pattern spreads. Angle Set the angle the selected side of the Pattern spreads.
- Click OK to complete Slash & Spread.
※ Note:
- When selecting an Internal Line as a Slash Line, the side closer to the mouse cursor spreads.
- Click on the slash line to spread patterns on both sides. (ver MD10)
- The shape of the Pattern can be previewed when closing the Pattern. Also, the Pattern Outline is smoothened into a natural curve. (ver MD10)
