Objective
Copy and paste/mirror paste Patterns with Linked Editing function to edit them simultaneously.
Or apply linked editing function to existing pair of symmetric Patterns (ver3.0.0).
Location
Clone Pattern with Linked Editing
Right Click Pop-Up Menu (on Pattern) ▶ Clone Pattern with Linked Editing ▶ Symmetric Pattern (With Sewing)/Symmetric Pattern/Instance Pattern
Apply Linked Editing
Right Click Pop-Up Menu (on Pattern) ▶ Apply Linked Editing ▶ Symmetric Pattern (With Sewing)/Symmetric Pattern/Instance Pattern
Remove Linked Editing
Right Click Pop-Up Menu (on Pattern) ▶ Remove Linked Editing
Operation
Clone Pattern with Linked Editing
- Select the Pattern to be duplicated with the Transform Pattern tool.
- Follow the indicated guideline below:
Right Click Pop-Up Menu (on Pattern) ▶ Clone Pattern with Linked Editing ▶ Symmetric Pattern (With Sewing)/Symmetric Pattern/Instance Pattern - The clone of the Pattern follows along the mouse cursor.
→ Symmetric Patterns's outline is highlighted in light-blue (ver2.5.0). - Click on the 2D window to place the clone.
→ The selected Pattern is pasted/mirror pasted with Linked Editing function.
※ Note: When copying the Pattern as an instance (Instance Pattern,) right click on the 2D window to access the Paste window which allows you to set Interval and Number of Shapes.
Apply Linked Editing
- Select the patterns to be linked with the Transform Pattern tool.
- Follow the indicated guideline below:
Right Click Pop-Up Menu (on Pattern) ▶ Apply Linked Editing ▶ Symmetric Pattern (With Sewing)/Symmetric Pattern/Instance Pattern
→ Selected Patterns are linked and can be edited simultaneously.
Remove Linked Editing
- Select the Patterns which the Linked Editing function should be removed with the Transform Pattern tool.
- Follow the indicated guideline below:
Right Click Pop-Up Menu (on Pattern) ▶ Remove Linked Editing
→ The applied Linked Editing function is removed.
