Objective
Use this function to load an Avatar’s Pose or location information. If a Pose file is loaded the Simulation button is automatically turned on and the Avatar gradually changes from the current Pose to the new Pose. The Garments worn by the Avatar are also simulated.

Operation
Open Pose (Change)

Follow the indicated guideline below:
Main Menu ▶ File ▶ Open ▶ Pose (Ctrl+Shift+P)
→ The Simulation automatically turns on and the Avatar's Pose changes.

While the Pose is being changed, the Play Motion tool or Simulation tool can be clicked to stop the Pose.

Click Play Motion tool or Simulation tool to restart the pose change.
Save Pose

Follow the indicated guideline below:
Main Menu ▶ File ▶ Save As ▶ Pose
→ The Save File window appears.

Type in the file name and designate the path the file is saved to.

Select Save.
→ The Pose (*.pos) file is saved.
Open/Load Hand Pose (ver.2024.1)
- Load an avatar into the scene.
- Load hand pose file (.hpos) or Pose file (.pos)
- In the Open Pose dialog box select the type of Joint Information ▶ Partial Pose (Both Hands, Left Hand, or Right Hand).

Click OK button.
→ The pose is applied to selected hands only.
※ Note:
- The (.hpos) file is a format that deals only with the hand pose.
- The hand pose can be applied among all poses through the .pos file.
- The (.hpos) is provided as downloadable content in the Library (ver.2024.1). The library (.hpos) files only apply to Female_V2 and Male_V2 avatar types.
Load Pose Type
When importing a Pose with joints differing from the original Avatar, the Pose type can be set like below:
Avatar Size + (Ver. 10) |
Applies the Avatar's Size, Pose, Motion Data (joint rotation) and Joint positions. |
Joint Rotation Only (Ver. 10) |
Applies the Pose Motion Data (Joint rotation) only, while maintaining the Avatar's Size. |
Cancel or re-load Avatars using the Ctrl + Z, Ctrl + Y keys (ver5.0.0.)

※ Note:
If a Pose file is loaded, the simulation is automatically turned on and the avatar changes from the current Pose to the new Pose.
End Result
Avatar's pose (.pos) file and hand pose (.hpos) file is applied, and avatar change to the applied pose.
