Video Capture (ver. 2024.0)
Capture a video of recorded animation to view in real time.
Steps
1. Open the Animation Editor.
2. Record the animation.
3. Select Video Capture from any of the locations below
Main Menu ▶ Animation ▶ Video Capture
Animation Editor Toolbar ▶ Video Capture
Timeline Menu (Right Click)▶ Video Capture
4. Set the video recording properties.
Display | Size preset |
Set the size of the video that will be recorded. The format is shown below.

Width | Set the width of the video to be recorded | ||
Height | Set the height of the video to be recorded | ||
File | Format |
Set the format of the file to save.

Save as File | Name | Name the video. | |
Saving path | Specify the location where you want to save the video. | ||
Autoseq Numbering | The video name is automatically saved with a new number. |
5. Click the Capture button.
→ The Capture is executed.
→ When executing capture, the capture button will change to a stop button, and the capture process can be terminated with the stop button.
End Result
1. Check the captured video
→ The frame range captured will match the playback start and end in the Animation Editor Settings. If the capture in terminated mid execution, start frame to time terminated will be captured.
→ When the capture ends, the video will be automatically launched to the set media player in your computer.
※ Note:
- You cannot run video capture without animation.
- You can only capture the movement of the camera in the 3D Window
