Objective

Create a Spiral pattern in the 2D Pattern Window. 

Location

Main Menu ▶ 2D Pattern ▶ Create ▶ Spiral

2D Pattern Window Toolbar ▶ Create Pattern Shape Dropdown Menu ▶ Spiral

Operation

1. Select the tool/menu indicated above under "Location". 
   
   
2. Click in the 2D Pattern Window. 
   → The Create Spiral pop-up Window appears.
   
   
3. After setting the options below, click OK. 
   

   Radius	Set the radius at which a spiral pattern rotates.
   Length	Set the length of the Inner/Outer segment of the spiral pattern. (the two values are linked - editing one will automatically adjust the other)
   Side	Set the Inside/Outside width of the spiral pattern's ends. (editing either will automatically adjust the Length values slightly)
   Offset	Adjust the spacing between spirals.  The length you enter is the distance from the center of the spiral pattern to the center of the next spiral layer.
   Direction	Set the rotation direction (Clockwise/Counterclockwise) of the spiral pattern.

   → A spiral pattern is created.
